I got pretty far into Under Your Scars—almost finished it, actually—but it was just too much for me personally. I wasn't necessarily triggered, but the themes are definitely very heavy, and the writing just wasn't compelling enough to justify putting myself through the emotional damage I could already tell the ending would inflict. I picked this one up hoping to break out of a reading slump by trying something different, but it just wasn't for me. I highly do not recommend this for beginners in dark romance.
